Tape Reel Drums: OUT NOW

The keen eye'd amongst you may have noticed that the homepage has been updated AND includes a store section. The curious may have even clicked the link to the page for this sample library - but yes! Tape Reel Drums is now OFFICIALLY released.

This is a really cool character percussion library. It was made entirely by hand, in the literal sense, as I manipulated tape on a reel to reel machine (see image above) by dragging it manually across the tape heads to create all of these sounds! It was inspired by DJ's scratching Vinyl records, but in this case it's a tape machine and you get a lot of unique human elements/artifacts from this.

The sample pack contains all of the wav files as well as a few presets made in kontakt and battery. Demos are located on the store page!
